Altındağ Municipality, in its restored Hamamönü district, decorated a mansion as a venue for discussions. The historic Kabakçı Mansion, which has hosted cultural, artistic, literary, and historical discussions and poetry readings since December 2009, is also used by civil society organizations, public institutions, and individuals. Offering a different program each month, the Kabakçı Mansion fills an important gap for culture, art, history, and literature enthusiasts in Ankara.
The mansion, consisting of two floors, accommodates guests on the upper floor. Designed as a traditional Turkish room, the space comprises a large hall. The meticulously prepared decoration gives you the feeling of sitting in the living room of an old Ankara house.
