Jülian Sütunu

It is located in the Ulus district of Altındağ. The column was erected in 362 AD in honor of Roman Emperor Julian's visit to Ankara. It is 15 meters high. Its body is made up of numerous ring-shaped white stones stacked on top of each other, but appears as a single piece. It has no inscriptions. Its capital is decorated with leaves, while its base and body are very simple. It is also known as the Belkıs Minaret among the people. Previously located next to Taşhan, it was moved to its current location in front of the Governor's Office in 1934. The structure has a Corinthian column capital model. It was restored by the Ankara Governorship in 2001.
