Cumhuriyet Müzesi

The building, constructed in 1923 as a party headquarters and now the Republic Museum, was founded at Atatürk's request. After serving as a party headquarters, this historic structure served as the parliament building for 36 years. Vedat Tek is the architect of this building, where important decisions were made in the early years of the Republic. Located in Altındağ, Ankara, the parliament building now serves as the Republic Museum. The Ankara Republic Museum opened to the public in 1981. The museum features panels and visuals illustrating Atatürk's reforms and principles, as well as personal belongings of the three presidents of the time: Atatürk, İsmet İnönü, and Celal Bayar. Many items from Dolmabahçe Palace are also displayed in the museum.
